Important Notes (Please Read)
This is an authentic off-grid experience, so please keep the following in mind as you plan your stay:

• Power & Electricity

The cabin is powered by solar energy with a backup generator. There should be ample power for your stay; however, during extended periods of cloudy or rainy weather, you may need to manually turn on the generator (just a simple push of a button). Instructions will be provided.

Please note: if you are unable to start the generator, you may not be able to contact us from the cabin. Reliable cell service is available with a short drive back to the main road. We kindly ask that you conserve electricity when possible.

• Internet & Cell Service

Satellite internet and Wi-Fi are available, but service is not guaranteed. You should be able to make Wi-Fi calls and use most online services; however, connection speed and reliability may vary, especially due to weather conditions.

In the event of an outage, you will need to drive a short distance toward the main road to gain cell phone connectivity. Cell service varies by provider.

• Cooling & Heating

There is no air conditioning, but a box fan is provided and the cabin typically stays comfortable with cool evenings.

For colder months, the heater and wood-burning stove provide ample warmth. Firewood is available for a small fee, and can also be purchased at nearby roadside stands and local stores.

• Coffee

We provide a pour-over coffee maker, along with coffee grounds and filters for your convenience.

• Garbage

Guests are responsible for removing their trash upon departure.

• Seasonal Conditions

Depending on the time of year, the property may have tall grass.

During winter months, even when roads are plowed, we strongly recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle for safe access to the property.
